Plot Synopsis

Made in Pakistan tells the story of four Pakistani individuals in Lahore from diverse backgrounds who defy the prevailing stereotype of Pakistanis prevalent in the western media today and put their energies towards the progress of Pakistan.

In a country where fashion, politics, religion, debate and tradition intermingle and where one definition of an Islamic State no longer holds true, these individuals represent the multifaceted nature of Pakistan. Sensationalism of bearded men stalking the streets of Islamabad may feed the international media, but the country and its silent urban majority are the ones who still hold high stakes in what Pakistan is and what it will become.

Each one these individuals through their careers, beliefs and lifestyles influence the direction in which the country is heading. Through their lives we will explore the authentic reality of how dangerous a place Pakistan really is.
