From his birth, millions around the world have followed Truman Burbank's life as he has grown up in smalltown America. The programme has become by far the most successful television show of all time. Everybody knows the Truman Show, everybody that is apart from it's subject - for Truman Burbank is completly unaware that his life has been played out before the masses. Burbank's entire life, including his apparently real hometown, has been skilfully constructed by Omnicam to ensure he never learns this secret.
