The trailer reveals a significant portion of the Season 9 cast, including male contestants from Charity Lawson’s season of “The Bachelorette,” such as Aaron Bryant, Lawson’s third runner-up; firefighter Aaron Schwartzman; and the season’s controversial figure, the love-him-or-hate-him villain, Brayden Bowers.

Several women from the latest edition of “The Bachelor,” featuring Zach Shallcross, are gearing up for a second chance at love or fame on “Bachelor In Paradise.” This group includes Jess Girod, Kat Izzo, Brooklyn Willie, Kylee Russell, and Cat Wong.

Adding to the excitement, four former stars from “The Bachelorette” make a dramatic entrance onto the beach: Rachel Recchia (Season 19), Katie Thurston (Season 17), Hannah Brown (Season 15), and the most recent leading lady, Charity Lawson (Season 20).

Nevertheless, the trailer unveils intriguing moments, with Recchia notably involved in both flirtation and tearful instances on the beach, including an intimate connection with Brayden Bowers. During a live studio audience on Monday night, host Jesse Palmer tantalizingly teased at sparks flying between Brayden and Rachel.

“This is wild. ‘Paradise’ is wild,” Bowers exclaims in the trailer. “There’s so much happening.”

Thurston, the star of Season 17 in “The Bachelorette,” is shown reuniting with her former fiancé, Blake Moynes, who is set to be a contestant on the upcoming season of “Bachelor In Paradise.” The two got engaged on her season finale in 2021 but announced their separation a few months later.

In addition to the new connections forming in Mexico, the trailer showcases numerous moments of tears. Notably, there’s also an ambulance, a classic “Bachelor” element, but this time, it’s responding to an unexpected “serious medical emergency” — and one that is quite unique: a contestant has been constipated for nine days. Certainly, a producer’s dream.

The trailer concludes with a beachside wedding, leaving viewers curious about who is tying the knot. All will be revealed when “Bachelor In Paradise” premieres on Thursday, September 28 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
