FX has announced that Season 2 of “The Bear” is set to debut on Hulu on June 22, as shared on social media.

Starring Jeremy Allen White in the role of Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, “The Bear” narrates the story of a young, classically trained chef who comes back to Chicago to manage his family’s Italian beef shop after his brother’s tragic death. The cast includes Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Edwin Lee Gibson, Abby Elliott, Corey Hendrix, Matty Matheson, Richard Esteras, and Jose M. Cervantes.

Variety exclusively revealed in April that Bob Odenkirk is set to join the show in a guest-starring capacity, while Molly Gordon has secured a key recurring role.
In a teaser trailer for the upcoming second season, released during the 95th Academy Awards, the kitchen staff is shown packing up their belongings as they close the restaurant to relaunch it as The Bear. FX captioned the teaser on social media: “It’s not a reopening, it’s a rebirth.”
Created by Christopher Storer, “The Bear” Season 2 will consist of 10 episodes, two more than the first season, and will primarily focus on the opening of the new restaurant.

Storer serves as the executive producer alongside Joanna Calo, Josh Senior, Hiro Murai, and Nate Matteson.
Following its debut, “The Bear” became FX’s most-watched half-hour series and garnered accolades from the Screen Actors, Writers, and Producers Guild Awards. Additionally, Jeremy Allen White won the Golden Globe for best actor in a TV series, musical, or comedy.
