The podcast production company Glisten+ officially launched this past Tuesday, introducing its initial lineup of two original series, with a promise of more scripted content in the months ahead.

The first series, aimed at young adults, is “Can’t Relax,” a suspenseful tale centered around a relaxation app that clandestinely implants murderous messages into the minds of its teenage users. The show boasts a cast featuring Olivia Trujillo (known for “For All Mankind”), Andre Robinson (“Cheaper by the Dozen”), and Patrick Labyorteaux (“NCIS”).

The second offering, “League of Wonder,” takes listeners on a fantastical adventure with a Yorkshire terrier who joins forces with a motley crew of animal heroes to rescue Dorothy Gale and a pair of enchanted slippers. The show features Donovan Patton (famous for “Blue’s Clues”), Makgotso M (“The Woman King”), Eric Petersen (“Kevin Can F**k Himself”), and Robbie Jarvis (“Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix”).

In a statement, Glisten+ founders Sheila Stapanek and Adam Jay Epstein expressed their pride in the growing team of talented actors, both from Hollywood and abroad, who are lending their voices and passion to their scripted podcasts.

Among their upcoming projects, Glisten+ has collaborated with Brotherwise Games, known for the tabletop game Boss Monster, to create a scripted podcast series titled “Boss Monster Adventures,” set to debut on November 6.

Chris O’Neal, CEO of Brotherwise Games, conveyed his excitement about the storyline crafted by Glisten+, anticipating it to captivate listeners and expressing curiosity about the future adventures of their characters.

Glisten+ also has a lineup of eight completed series set to be released in the coming months. These include the horror series “The Dispossessed” (scheduled for October 2023), the R-rated comedy “Best Party Ever” (slated for December 2023), the family adventure “American Leprechaun” (anticipated in January 2024), the toddler podcast “Listen Pup” (coming in February 2024), the comic adventure “The Figgets” (arriving in March 2024), the horror series “Foster” (coming in April 2024), the romantic drama “Lasting” (scheduled for May 2024), and the superhero series “Backbeat” (anticipated in June 2024).
