In its sophomore season, “Special Forces” is introducing a frosty twist, and it’s not just about its star-studded lineup. Celebrities will confront the challenges of winter warfare, braving freezing temperatures in New Zealand’s mountainous terrain. The cast will endure daunting tasks such as plunging into a frozen lake, scaling a 4,700-ft snow-covered peak, and executing an emergency escape from a helicopter submerged in icy waters.
Survival is the name of the game in Season 2 of “Special Forces,” with no room for voting or eliminations.
The initial teaser for the upcoming season features Tom Sandoval sporting a bloody nose and expressing a desire for punishment. Sandoval, central to Bravo’s #Scandoval saga, has been under the social media spotlight for allegedly cheating on his longtime girlfriend, Ariana Madix, with fellow “Vanderpump” co-star Raquel Leviss. Exploiting the #Scandoval fervor, Madix is set to appear on another reality show, competing on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars,” coincidentally airing on Monday nights, creating a network battle between the former couple.

The celebrity ensemble will undergo rigorous training exercises orchestrated by the Directing Staff agents, including Rudy Reyes, Mark “Billy” Billingham, Jason “Foxy” Fox, and new addition Jovon “Q” Quarles— an elite team of ex-special forces operatives.
The series is produced by Minnow Films, with executive producers Sophie Leonard, Liam Humphreys, and Becky Clarke at the helm. Season 2 of “Special Forces” is set to premiere on Fox on September 25.
In its inaugural season, “Special Forces” crowned “The Bachelorette” alum Hannah Brown as the champion.
