“Relationships, in general, can be incredibly challenging, and it’s difficult to publicly disclose the precise reasons for our separation because it’s deeply personal for both of us,” Sasso revealed to Variety. “We share many commonalities, but I believe that we genuinely tried our best to address every issue. We both had the best intentions, but our differences in desires and feelings about each other ultimately led to our decision… That chapter of my life has come to a close.”

Sasso holds no regrets regarding their shared experience and sees himself as a “work in progress.” He acknowledges that some viewers might question the authenticity of their relationship for the sake of the show. To those doubters, he has a clear message.

“The fact that we’re not together actually underscores how genuine it was because, to be completely candid, if we were going to fake it, this would be the ideal time to do so—while the show is airing,” he clarifies. “If you examine shows like ‘The Bachelor,’ it’s no coincidence that everyone appears engaged, ecstatic, and deeply in love, only for every single couple to break up or call off their engagement six months after the show. I’m not someone who’s inclined to counterfeit emotions for the sake of a TV program. I always strive to be genuine.”

Today, Snow and Sasso maintain an amicable relationship and share a mutual respect for each other. They adopt a direct and open approach to addressing any issues that arise, refraining from allowing others to speak negatively about one another.

“When you watch the show, you can observe that both of us are quite intense individuals—when things are good, they’re fantastic, and when they’re not, they’re not,” he remarks. “I never made any deliberate attempts to harm anyone. Sometimes, when you start a new relationship, it feels incredible. However, sometimes you realize it’s not the right fit for you. All I can do is be truthful about it.”

Regarding his current relationship status, Sasso prefers to keep that information private. “No comment,” he responds. “I’ve dated. I’ve had conversations with people. I’ve had those experiences, but I choose not to share them with the public.”
