Expressing sentiments on bringing the series to a close, showrunner and executive producer R. Scott Gemmill shared, “Concluding a series is always a mix of emotions. We were fortunate to share 14 seasons together, making it a formidable challenge to bring it to a satisfying conclusion after so many years.” Gemmill continued, “Luckily, CBS generously granted us an additional episode to bid farewell to our characters in a manner that honors their narratives, with the hope that fans will find it both gratifying and uplifting.”
The concluding pair of episodes revolves around the NCIS team’s investigation into the theft of military-grade weapons, all while Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Anna (Bar Paly) make arrangements for their upcoming wedding. The brainchild of Shane Brennan, who serves as an executive producer on the show, “NCIS: Los Angeles” was produced by CBS Studios.
Guided by “Entertainment Tonight” co-host Kevin Frazier, “A Salute to ‘NCIS: Los Angeles'” will showcase interviews with cast members spanning the past 14 years, coupled with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage. This special presentation will also be accessible for streaming on Paramount+.

FIRST LOOKS
Disney Junior, in collaboration with Hasbro’s entertainment studio eOne, has unveiled the trailer for “Kiya and the Kimoja Heroes,” set to premiere on March 22.
This animated series centers around 7-year-old Kiya, a spirited African girl with a passion for dancing, martial arts, and a unique set of superpowers. Drawing inspiration from the rich nature and culture of South Africa, the show weaves together action, dance, and music to narrate an uplifting tale, delving into themes of empathy, community, and unity. The original concept was conceived by Robert Vargas, and the series was adapted from the characters created by Marc Dey and Kelly Dillon.
Esra Cafer, SVP of global brand management at eOne Hasbro, emphasized the thoughtful development of relatable characters, stating, “We have given a lot of thought and intention to developing fundamentally relatable characters that serve as great role models for young children. Kiya shows that you don’t have to choose between learning to dance or being a kick-butt hero — you can be both! She’s encouraging preschoolers to be whoever they want to be and shine.”
The premiere will feature the first four 11-minute episodes, airing on Disney Junior and available for streaming on Disney+.
